‘Wishing On A Star’ was chosen as the 2011 Charity single released from the X-Factor finalists. The single also features former contestants and current chart toppers JLS & One Direction. The song was originally recorded in 1978 by Rose Royce. To date the song was also been covered by other popular artists such as Jay-Z, Seal, & Beyonce, All proceeds from the single will go to the children’s charity organization Together for Short Lives.
